3) Increasing awareness to green building practices among the trade professionals and local inspectors in the Building and Construction industry.

4) advocating for change in restrictive regulation that stifles innovation and market transformation of green building.  vivo has it own headquarters (office in a residential building) registered in the LEED for Homes Pilot program of the Canada Green Building Council.  vivo's Director is a LEED Accredited Professional and sits on the steering committee of the Vancouver Island Green Building COuncil.  vivo is an active member of the Canada Home Builders' Association, BC Sustainable Energy Association, Cascadia Region Green Building Council, Canada Green Building Council among others.  vivo regularly participates in meetings advocating for sustainability's inclusion in land use, building code and affordable housing decisions and policy development.
