A resident of Victoria, BC, Allison is the founder and director of vivo. 
Allison has spent the last four years avidly researching superior and innovative green building technologies and strategies, particularly as they relate to challenging siloed design and build functions, and traditional construction methodologies around process and materials employed. Complementing her research and professional background, Allison is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. Allison’s passions are affordable housing and “sustainnovative” technologies.
Prior to launching vivo, Allison was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. Over the course of her 11 years at Deloitte, Allison worked in the Vancouver, New York, and US National office practices of Deloitte in varied functions from audit through regulatory consulting. As a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a background in financial and regulatory strategy and compliance in the high tech and innovation sectors, Allison is accustomed to managing very large and complex client service projects from initial design and development of the project program and team through its implementation, execution and client training and transition. The characteristics of these past engagements uniquely positions Allison to work within the regulated building industry in the dynamic green building sector with its innovative technologies and emerging sustainability certification criterion.
